Gaining Television

The Food Network

For those of you who have cable or satellite or whatever (which I'm going to go out on a limb here and say is most of you) you have probably watched Food Network at least occasionally. I watch it all the time lately, and I have to say, I think its actually a great channel for gainers to watch. Not just because we love food, though.

One thing I have noticed about Food Network, is it makes me hungry. If I sit around and watch Food Network for a bit, I  invariably end up much more hungry than I would have. Its something about seeing all the good and interesting foods, and it inspires me to both want to make something AND to eat. So not only do I end up hungry, but I want to try more interesting and different foods. Too often I think people rely on fast food and pizza to gain. Don't get me wrong, I love pizza as much as the next guy (and probably moreso) but its really sad to think that all these guys cramming down food out there aren't expanding their pallet as well as their waistlines. We're all guilty of this. Hell, lets face it, most gainers are really lazy, and if they can just order a burger instead of making something, well the choice seems obvious. But why just be okay with this?

I think I'm going to make it a goal to try cooking one completely new dish every 2 weeks, more if I can afford it (money is tight, or I'd try one new dish every week).

Blog 2.0

The New Blog Begins

Hey guys! It's been a bit again. I kind of want to revamp this blog and its purpose. Inspired by other blogs, I think it might be nifty to talk in general about stuff to do with the community, and not just post pictures every once in a while. Some other blogs talk about food, gaining tips, challenges, and generally being big in a world that wants you to be thin. Well I can do that kind of stuff here and more. So if you have any ideas for posts, or any questions that are more general about gaining or even about my experience, feel free to comment or send a message my way on any of the sites I'm on.
